[Poem] “Shining Shoes”

Your shining shoes of pride.

They speak of your riches,

they speak of your honour.

tip-top elegance of ambitions.

But this dirt of ignorance,

on your shining shoes of esteem.

That you fail to clean and  polish.

It will stay, it will stain ;

till you learn to leap and

hop over the puddle of arrogance.
